To support continued growth in Europe, the organization is launching a new European Business Centre in Riga, Latvia. It will become a core part of the European operational network, supporting various business functions. Apply now and became a part of this newly established organization in Riga.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivery and service request activities

On a daily basis provide support to users on:

  • User accounts and the data folders security
  • Corporate laptops, desktops, phone systems
  • Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Support and perform preventive maintenance on other IT services, such as printers, video conference systems and projectors in meeting rooms

Access software updates, drivers, knowledge bases, and FAQ resources on the Internet/Intranet to aid in problem resolution

Incident / problem management activities

  • Ensure that all incidents are resolved in line with agreed SLA’s
  • Maintain the FAQ resources on the Internet/Intranet to aid in incident/problem resolution
  • When required, escalate problem to the appropriately experienced technician and perform post-resolution follow up.
  • Test fixes to ensure problem has been adequately resolved

IT asset management and IT procurement activities

  • Maintain an inventory of all local IT equipment, manage and review the local IT contracts
  • Coordinate local IT purchases and contracts and liaise with third-party

Requirements:

  • Microsoft 365 certification required
  • Demonstrated experience at an IT Service Desk, preferably as a senior or in a stand alone position
  • Knowledge of Desktop operating systems. Must be capable of answering user queries and solving 1st line support problems.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, knowledge of Citrix is an advantage
  • Experience in delivering projects for the modern workspace
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical people
  • Fluent in English and Latvian, written and verbal.
